And furthermore, this event was advertised on Facebook and quite a few people signed up to it - but nobody turned up, apart from us. However, what you have failed to mention is that these events are almost completely pointless (a) because they only preach to the converted and (b) because the type of people who go to them are all geriatrics, members of what I have heard called the "Zimmerframe brigade". With the exception of us and one couple, everyone in that room was over 50 and probably most were well over 60. While it is indeed to be hoped that it will be many years before Mr Booker himself is 'tucked up safely in the church yard', it is quite clear that it will not be many years at all before most of the people at that event are ten feet under. What is the point in spreading the message that global warming is a scam to people who are only going to discuss it over a cup of tea in their old people's homes between appointments at the clinic for their arthritis? Perhaps putting it on YouTube will relieve this problem somewhat, but for goodness' sake, there is no point in the Freedom Association wasting its time on this kind of event.
